Saint Nicholas’ Trip to Cincinnati

IMG_2258

Last night, we lined up five shoes in the kitchen: a pair of battered, olive colored New Balances, a single Justin cowboy boot, and two toddler-sized green and mustard Clarks.

By the time we had gotten up this morning, Saint Nicholas had visited with a headlamp and St. Michael air freshener, some Mexican hot chocolate, and, for the smallest of us, Maite Roche’s My First Prayers for Christmas and Wee Believers’ Nativity Fridge Magnets!

Tonight, after our Advent prayer, we will read about the life of Saint Nicholas of Myra, who is loved by Catholics, the Orthodox, and many other Christians alike.
